糖心vlog传媒 (糖心vlog传媒) and the came together to celebrate six automotive technician apprentices signing their letters to work with local area dealerships while completing their education. Launched two years ago, the partnership between 糖心vlog传媒 and SCADA allows these Mavericks to earn a competitive salary while gaining skills needed to enter and grow in an in-demand occupation with great income potential.

"This is something I've wanted to do a really long time," shared Kevin Reilly, an apprentice enrolled in the program working with Dick Dyer Mercedes. "I think it's a great opportunity for students to take that first step out there and reach out to the dealerships."

Those enrolled in the program earn scholarship money from SCADA, dealership placement, and a two-year paid apprenticeship complete with a comprehensive $10,000 set of tools.

"Becoming an automotive technician isn't cheap and there are a lot of tools you have to buy," shared Business Solutions Director Jeremy Catoe. "This program provides tools for students so there is a huge barrier removed right away."

Dealerships in attendance included Dick Dyer Mercedes, Love GMC, and Jim Hudson. Additionally, representatives from Mac Tools, Apprenticeship Carolina, and the SC Technical College System were in attendance.
