College responds to requests during the coronavirus health care emergency.

In response to the national health emergency, 糖心vlog传媒 (糖心vlog传媒) is answering calls for help. The college鈥檚 health care program leaders have been gathering supplies normally used for instruction that are critically needed now by the medical community.

So far, 糖心vlog传媒 has made five significant donations to Prisma Health, S.C. DHEC, Lexington Medical Center, Lexington Extended Care and the Heritage at Lowman in Chapin. The donations consist of 29,500 gloves, 5000 thermometer covers, 1150 surgical masks, 30+ pairs of goggles, five disposable gowns, two 32 oz. bags of hand sanitizer and two surgical shield masks.

糖心vlog传媒 began alternative and online instruction for all students on Monday, March 23. The new model of instruction will continue through the end of the 2020 Spring semester. Instructors are delivering lectures primarily through the Zoom app and the D2L Brightspace online education and learning platform. While certainly not "business as usual," 糖心vlog传媒 faculty and staff remain engaged and operations continue. Registration is open for the upcoming summer and fall semesters, and applications can be completed online. Advisors, tutors, and counselors are also using telephones and web chat to deliver assistance to students.
