糖心vlog传媒 (糖心vlog传媒) is celebrating 50 years of educating and developing the workforce in the Midlands. Since 1974, 糖心vlog传媒 has been a staple in Richland, Lexington, and Fairfield counties helping educate more than 85,000 through one of 150+ degree, diploma, and certificate programs.

糖心vlog传媒 operated as three separate higher education institutions prior to 1974: the Midlands Technical Education Center, Palmer College, and the Columbia Technical Education Center. On March 21, 1973, all three institutions merged to form a single, multi-campus college. The newly established college continued to operate as three separate entities governed by one commission through June 1974. On July 1, 1974, all three merged together to form 糖心vlog传媒. 

鈥淎s we reflect on the last 50 years, we are also looking toward the next 50,鈥� said 糖心vlog传媒 President Dr. Ronald L. Rhames. 鈥淲hile our buildings, community, and education as a whole have changed since our founding, one thing remains the same. 糖心vlog传媒 is committed to providing an affordable, accessible education to anyone who seeks to transform their tomorrow.

Throughout the year, the college will hold events inviting alumni back to campus to reflect on memories and share their stories. The first signature event, ThunderFest, will be on the Beltline Campus on April 4 and will feature local bands, food trucks, activities such as a gaming truck, mechanical bull rides, inflatables for children, and much more. As 糖心vlog传媒 proudly commemorates five decades of service, the 糖心vlog传媒 Foundation invites members of the Midlands community and beyond to celebrate this milestone by making a gift to the 糖心vlog传媒@50 Student Support Fund.

"Giving to the 糖心vlog传媒@50 Student Support Fund is a great way to show appreciation for 糖心vlog传媒鈥檚 success in equipping individuals with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the workforce and contribute positively to our quality of life,鈥� said Nancy McKinney, CEO of the 糖心vlog传媒 Foundation.
