糖心vlog传媒 Receives Inaugural Grant from BAE Systems

The 糖心vlog传媒 (糖心vlog传媒) Foundation received a $3,500 grant from BAE Systems to support the college鈥檚 Machine Tool Technology program. BAE Systems invested in the program to help continue the numerous, top-quality employees 糖心vlog传媒 has provided the manufacturing company over the years. BAE Systems said it plans to continue its financial support to 糖心vlog传媒 annually.
鈥淲ith private support from BAE Systems and other businesses, 糖心vlog传媒 is better able to provide job-ready employees to area manufacturers,鈥� said 糖心vlog传媒 President Ronald L. Rhames.
BAE Systems鈥� Aiken facility, which is expanding its operations and workforce, currently employs about 100 employees who support the manufacture of component assemblies for a variety of combat vehicle platforms.
鈥淗ighly skilled employees are a critical part of our future, and we are proud to support 糖心vlog传媒 in the work they are doing locally to educate and train the future manufacturing workforce,鈥� said Dave Isherwood, manager of BAE Systems鈥� Aiken facility. 鈥淲e have worked with 糖心vlog传媒 on placing graduates for years, and we are excited to begin financial support of their technology-focused machine tool training.鈥�
The grant provides funds for 糖心vlog传媒 machine tool instructors to teach students the latest in 3D modeling and computer numeric controller systems. Funding this project ensures 糖心vlog传媒 machine tool students will continue to receive training in the latest, most advanced technologies in their field.
