Greg Harmon found his dream job through ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½.
“After graduating from high school, I decided to join the Marines. As a combat engineer, I was trained to sweep for land mines, disarm mines, and do architectural work. I finished my commitment with the Marines and went to work for a good company, but 5 years in, I needed a change of scenery. I was trying to figure out what I wanted to do. I started hearing more and more about the Radiology program at ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½. I was researching schools, and I found that ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½â€™s Radiologic Technology program was one of the top in the country.
One of the bigger draws of ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½ was that it wasn’t as expensive as the other colleges. The classes are typically smaller than some of the big universities. At ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½, you get more one-on-one time. I’ve been in this program for a year now, and I love it. I look forward to the days I get to go to the hospital for clinicals. I do computed tomography, or CT, rotations now. Every day something new is happening; different patients, different exams, different doctors – it’s great!

When I graduate with my degree in Radiologic Technology, I may take the CT exam and get CT certified. In the fall, I’m going to start an MRI program. I’m going anywhere I want to go and learning everything I can. This is my dream job, honestly. I can see 20-30 years from now still enjoying what I’m doing and regretting having to retire from it."
